Village Creek State Park sits along Village Creek, one of the few free-flowing creeks in Texas. Here you can camp, picnic, fish, hike, mountain bike, swim, geocache, study nature and view wildlife.
The 38,137-acre Chinati Mountains State Natural Area lies south of Pinto Canyon Road and immediately west of the high peaks of the range. The site is not yet open.
