- GOOD. Water slightly stained; 54 degrees; 2.31 feet below pool. Catfish are very good on cut bait and punch bait. Anglers are catching big numbers and the trophy size catfish. Hybrids are inconsistent, but this cold front may improve the bite soon. White bass are hard to find at times, but can be found on points in 41 feet of water with ½ ounce jigheads with a 2.5 inch minnow type bait and an Ice jig to catch them. Back bass can still be caught around hard cover. When the water gets cooler I like a tight wobble shallow crankbait or jig.
