Boat Access Only - by crossing Choke Canyon Reservoir. Hunting will be limited to specific compartments as identified on orientation maps. Some adjacent areas accessible only by boat or significant hiking by foot; hunters should take this into consideration before applying for this hunt. Hunt runs concurrently with James E. Daughtrey Hunt. All hunters and standby applicants must attend a mandatory orientation at 11:00 AM at the James E. Daughtrey checkstation on the first day of the hunt. Hunt ends at noon on the last day. Hunters must complete daily electronic on-site registration (eOSR). Hunters are encouraged to bring portable blinds. Entire Area; Boats should be large enough to cross Choke Canyon Reservoir in windy conditions. Hunters may access hunt area from a boat at all times throughout the hunt period provided that boats are launched from public boat ramps.
