Entire Area; It is strongly recommended that hunters have a four-wheel drive, high clearance vehicle to participate in this hunt. All roads in the park interior are rugged and unpaved, and some roads require a four-wheel drive, high clearance vehicle.

Each group will be assigned a single compartment for the hunt period. All hunters must check-in Saturday morning before the hunt. Shooting hours are 30 min. before sunrise to sunset. Annual Public Hunting Permit required for standbys. Hunting will be limited to specific compartments as identified on orientation maps. Each group will be assigned a hunt compartment. All hunters must attend a mandatory orientation at 6:30 AM (Saturday morning) at the James E. Daughtrey checkstation before hunting. Shooting hours are 30 min before sunrise to sunset.
