Any vehicle with an elevated seat or shooting platform is strictly prohibited. Any ATV or UTV is prohibited in the park.
Hunt Method
Entire Area; It is strongly recommended that hunters have a four-wheel drive, high clearance vehicle to participate in this hunt. All roads in the park interior are rugged and unpaved, and some roads require a four-wheel drive, high clearance vehicle.

Annual Public Hunting Permit required for standbys. Hunting will be limited to specific compartments as identified on orientation maps. Each group will be assigned a hunt compartment. All hunters must coordinate with hunt staff to participate in a mandatory orientation before hunting. Shooting hours are 30 min before sunrise to sunset.
