Limited public access is offered during land management workshops, field days, WMA tours, and public hunts. Public hunting opportunities are offered through drawn permit hunts, during specific dates and times, with a Special Drawn Permit. Directions

The Burns WMA main entrance is located at 4567 CR 477; May, Texas 76857. From Brownwood/Early Texas, travel north on US-183 for 12 miles, turn right and travel east on CR 477 for 1 mile to the main entrance.
