Some areas of the Guadalupe Delta Wildlife Management Area (WMA) are open daily for fishing, biking, hiking and wildlife viewing activities. For hunting activities and WMA tour dates, contact the WMA manager. Visitors 17 years of age and older must have an Annual Public Hunting (APH) or Limited Public Use (LPU) Permits to enter the WMA.
Directions
The Guadalupe Delta WMA headquarters office at the Mission Lake Unit is located southeast of Victoria, take SH 185 22 miles to SH 35, turn south on SH 35 and continue one mile to the Area office on the left. The Guadalupe River Unit is four more miles south on SH 35 through Tivoli, turn left at River Rd and go about a mile and a half. The Hynes Bay Unit is another three miles south on SH 35 to Barber Rd, turn left at Barber Rd and go about two miles to a sharp right curve, the entrance is directly ahead at the curve.
