Directions

Cedar Creek Reservoir is located about an hour southeast of Dallas. Take US 175 south from Dallas to Mabank, about 60 miles. In Mabank, US 175 connects to SH 334. Go south on SH 334 to Gun Barrel City (5 miles) and cross the reservoir to Seven Points (4 miles). The Big Island is located in the north part of the reservoir off US 175 and Old Highway 40.
