Tidal Streams Use Attainability Analysis
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department staff, led by the Water Quality and Coastal Studies Programs, have completed a study of five tidal streams. Significant funding for this study was provided by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ). TCEQ will use the data to determine the appropriate aquatic life use of three tidal streams, Cow Bayou Tidal, Tres Palacios Tidal and Garcitas Creek Tidal.
For more information about this and other tidal streams studies, see the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality's (TCEQ) Tidal Streams Project Summary or the TPWD Coastal Studies Program webpage.
