TPW Commission Policies
Policy Manual of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission
Introduction to the Manual
It is the purpose of this Commission Policy Manual to provide a codification of Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission (Commission) policies established directly or indirectly through the recorded actions of the Commission. As new policies are enacted or present policies revised or rescinded by the Commission, such additions or changes will be issued by the Office of the Executive Director to be inserted in the Commission Policy Manual in the proper place. It is essential that in order for such a document as this to be effective and useful it be kept up-to-date at all times. The format and system is organized to keep the Commission Policy Manual current with a minimum of effort.
The Commission Policy Manual is structured for use by the Commission as a ready reference to existing policies and to aid in determining areas where policies are lacking and where policies need review and possible revision. It is also designed to provide the Administrative Staff with full knowledge of all Commission policies that have been established.
