August John "Gus" Kaderka – Obituary and Assessment Call

john_kaderka.jpgAugust John “Gus” Kaderka of Mason, TX went to be with his heavenly Father while on vacation in Denver, CO on Sunday, August 17, 2008, at the age of 60 years, 11 months. Gus was born September 17, 1947 in Georgetown, TX to August Albert Kaderka and Vlasta Svehlak Kaderka.

Gus was preceded in death by his infant son, Kalan Travis Kaderka and his father, August A. Kaderka.

Gus is survived by his wife, Gladys Pekar Kaderka; mother, Vlasta Svehlak Kaderka; daughter, Serena Kerr and husband Reese, son, Kelly Kaderka and wife Christina, and daughter, Kylie Kaderka; sister, Linda Fisher and husband Dale, brother, Gary Kaderka and sister, Connie Sanders; grandsons TR, Matthew and Bailan August Kerr and Josef and Jakub Kaderka; 14 nieces and nephews and numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, cousins, aunts and uncles, and other family members.

Visitation will be Friday, August 22nd at the Mason Funeral Home from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m. with Rosary following. Funeral services will be held Saturday, August 23rd at 10:30 a.m. Sts. Cyril and Methodius Catholic Church, Granger, TX, followed by a graveside service at the Calvary Cemetery, Granger, TX.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorial contributions be given to the Gus Kaderka Scholarship Fund in care of Mason National Bank, PO Box 1789 Mason, TX 76856; St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Building Fund in care of Gladys Garner PO Box 921 Mason, TX 76856 or the Texas Organ Sharing Alliance (T.O.S.A.) 8122 Datapoint, STE 200 San Antonio, TX 78229.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Mutual Association (TPWD Mutual Association) regrets to inform you of the death of another of our members, August John "Gus" Kaderka .

Gus became a member of the TPWD Mutual Association on July 31, 1979. He retained his membership up until his death on August 17, 2008.

Additional information on Gus is on the reverse side of this assessment letter.

A check in the amount of $5,445.00 will be delivered to Gus' wife, Gladys.

An assessment in the amount of $16.00 will be necessary to bring the policy fund back into balance to have payments on hand for two members in case of death. Please make this payment as soon as possible, but no later than September 25, 2008.
