Rodney Ayres Knight – Obituary and Assessment Call

Rodney Ayres Knight, 70, of Sonora died Saturday, May 9, 2015 in San Angelo. Funeral services were 11 am Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church in Sonora. Burial followed in Sonora Cemetery.

Survivors include wife Kathy Knight of Sonora, mother Betty L. Knight of Rossville, sons Lonnie Knight of Poth and Joe Shannon of Pleasanton, daughters Edie Knight of Dripping Springs, Betsy Knight-Gonzales of Sonora and Debbie Norment of Pleasanton, and brother Kurtney Knight of Rossville. Visitation was at Kerbow Funeral Home in Sonora.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Mutual Association (TPW Mutual Association) regrets to inform you of the death of one of our members, Rodney A. Knight.

Rodney became a member of the TPW Mutual Association on May 29, 1976. He retained his membership up until his death on May 9, 2015. A check in the amount of $5,000 was delivered to Mrs. Kathy Knight.

An assessment in the amount of $20.00 will be necessary to bring the policy fund back into balance to have payments on hand for other members in case of death. Please make this payment by the due date listed above.
