Samuel W. Kendrick, Jr. - Obituary and Assessment Call

Samuel W. Kendrick, Jr., 86, of Chula Vista, Ca died March 12, 2007. He was born in June 11, 1920 in Austin, Texas, and lived most of his life there. He was retired from the Texas Parks & Wildlife Department.

Survivors include daughters Judith Mathis of Chula Vista, and Carol Rutledge of Austin, Texas, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Private services, followed by inurnment will be at Llano Cemetery, Llano, Texas.

The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department Mutual Association (TPWD Mutual Association) regrets to inform you of the death of another of our members, Samuel Wayne Kendrick .

Mr. Kendrick became a member of the Texas Game and Fish Commission Mutual Association on September 10, 1959. Mr. Kendrick was the 236 member of the original association, which later became the TPWD Mutual Association. He retained his membership up until his death on March 12, 2007.

Additional information on Mr. Kendrick is on the reverse side of this assessment letter.

A check in the amount of $3,600.00 was mailed to Mr. Kendrick's daughter, Judith Mathis, on April 2, 2007.

An assessment in the amount of $10.00 will be necessary to bring the policy fund back into balance to have payments on hand for two members in case of death. Please make this payment by April 16, 2007.
