Designation of Nonprofit Partners

I. Executive Summary: The Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) is authorized by §11.202, Texas Parks and Wildlife Code, to select and cooperate with nonprofit partners to serve TPWD goals. This item presents a proposed list of nonprofits to be designated as Nonprofit Partners by the Texas Parks and Wildlife Commission (Commission).
II. Discussion: Under 31 Texas Administrative Code §§51.161 and 51.162, nonprofit organizations that exist primarily for the purpose of a specific TPWD property, facility, or program may be designated as “Nonprofit Partners” by the Commission. The attached list of organizations are proposed for Commission designation as Nonprofit Partners of TPWD.
