Twitterpated for Tweeters: Birding Walk

Fall in love with birding! Start a new hobby with your love-bird or find your new love-bird by starting a new hobby!

We will go over how to use binoculars, bird books, and free birding apps! You can help with citizen science during the Great Backyard Bird Count! Then we will go for a short hike to find some tweeters in the park! 

This is a great opportunity to learn a new hobby to do with your sweetie! 

Meet: Historic Golf Shelter Parking Lot

Bring: Binoculars (provided on a first come first serve basis for those that don’t have their own), bottled water, wear closed toe shoes for our short hike on the paved old golf cart paths.

1.5 mile slow walk along paved trails with lots of stops for bird watching and I.D. along the way! 

Program is free after park entrance fee is paid.
