Join us for a fun filled weekend designed to help your family discover the joys of camping and Texas State Parks. Join us at Lake Colorado City State Park for “All Around the Campfire” fun! We'll have Dutch oven demonstrations and cowboy campfire songs.

Gather with us around the campfire as people have gathered for thousands of years, and give thanks for a simple, delicious, and stress-free goody before the serious cooking begins. This is a bring your own s'mores event!

Stories have always been a part of our traditions. Join the Park Rangers for a relaxed evening of sharing hot cocoa and some of the stories that have become a part of our Christmas Season.

Join Ranger Joel around a campfire to celebrate New Year's. We might get a chance to see some local fireworks displays! We will take a short "First Day" night hike after the campfire.
