International Observe the Moon Night (FREE ENTRY FOR PROGRAM 6:30-7:15p)

Join us on this international event to observe, explore, appreciate, and learn more about Earth's constant companion, the MOON!

Accessibility: Parking will be available near Day Use and surrounding areas. Restroom is available at Pavilion. Bring your own water. Path consists of pavement and mowed grass with mostly flat surfaces.

Program Expectations: PARK WILL BE DARK. Program will consist of a moon presentation, activities, and observing the moon through telescopes and binoculars. Bring a flashlight!

Program is included with park entry fees: $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. Please use the self-pay kiosk after 4:45 p.m. if you are not camping with us to pay for your entry fees. Entry is free for everyone attending the program from 7-8p. You MUST stop at the headquarters and get a envelope and approved sticker for free entrance! Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Dress for the weather!
