Learn to cast a pole and test your fishing luck on Little Pine Lake!

Accessibility: Parking will be available near Boat House and surrounding areas. Restroom is available at Boat House. Drinking water is available nearby and bottled water is available for purchase inside the park store. Path consists of pavement, mowed grass, and wooden fishing pier.

Program Expectations: Program will consist of a casting safety training, how to put on tackle, casting practice, ethics of fishing, fish identification, and fishing off the pier at Little Pine Lake. All materials will be provided but feel free to bring your own bait, fishing pole, etc. PLEASE ARRIVE ON TIME TO EARN YOUR BASIC ANGLER PIN AND CERTIFICATE!

  • Sun protection
  • Fishing pole (optional)
  • Preferred bait (optional)

Program is included with park entry fees: $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Dress for the weather!
