Learn about the park's local owls then join a ranger on a guided tour to locate some!
Accessibility: Parking will be available at the Day Use and surrounding areas. Restroom is available at Pavilion. Drinking water available nearby. Path to program is pavement, grass, and/or rock steps. Path during program will be relatively flat with some minor trip hazards and a few foot bridges.
Program Expectations: PARK WILL BE DARK. Program will consist of a brief presentation about owl adaptations and species in the park. Then, we will go on a short tour to search for owls, bats, and anything else that comes out at night!
*Some wildlife becomes more active at night. While this is great for experience, safety precautions are at a high. Snakes, skunks, raccoons, coyotes, bobcats, biting insects, tripping, and many other hazards may present themselves during the program. Please stay with the ranger at all times if you are not familiar with these hazards.*

Program is included with park entry fees: $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Dress for the weather!
