Hike & Paddle Park Cleanup

Help keep Daingerfield State Park beautiful both on land and lake!

Accessibility: Parking will be available near Day Use and surrounding areas. Restroom is available at Pavilion. Water is available for purchase at the park store. Path consists of pavement and mowed grass with mostly flat surfaces. Trails have trip hazards and elevation.

Program Expectations: Program will consist of a park cleanup on land and the lake. For water, we will use kayaks/canoes with trash bags and pickers. For land, all hiking trails, roads, day-use areas, and empty campsites are free game for trash pickup. All ages are welcome for hike/land trash pickup. Must be 16+ to participate in water cleanup. Kayaks are first come, first serve starting at 9:00 a.m.

• Sunscreen
• Gloves (optional)
• Trash pickers (optional)

Program is included with park entry fees: $4 per person ages 13 and older, 12 and under are free. Programs are subject to cancellation in the event of inclement weather. Dress for the weather!
