Join us and practice your casting with this kid-friendly activity. We will explore the basics of using a rod and reel and touch on fishing regulations. 

Note: This is a ‘come and go’ program. You can stop by at any point during the program.

We will not actually be fishing during this program. But you are more than welcome to borrow a rod through our Tackle Loaner Program if you are interested in fishing at the park.

Bring: Water, closed-toed shoes

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
