Star Party

Celebrate the night sky and learn from real astronomers!

Join us and the Fort Worth Astronomical Society for an evening of celestial fun! We will observe planets, stars, and galaxies up close and with the help of knowledgeable astronomers.

Event Location: Overflow parking lot (walk-up program, no visitor vehicles in this lot)

Parking Location: Park at the Amphitheater or Main Track Site parking lots and then walk to the Overflow lot. 

Bring: Red lights only, please!

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass. Please use the self-pay station outside of park HQ if you are arriving after office hours.

Note: If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at park headquarters.

You do not need to reserve a spot specifically for this program, it is included in a camping or day pass. We do ask you make camping or day pass reservations online in advance.
