Guided Golden-Cheeked Warbler Hike
Sun, March 22, 2026
Join a Master Naturalist to learn about this endemic bird species who only breed in Texas.
Participants will join our volunteer on a 2–3-mile moderate hike to see how many birds we can find. Golden-cheeked warbler males are starting to establish their territory. We will likely just hear them singing at the top of trees and it will be a special treat to see one.
Registration Required: This hike is limited to 10 participants. Register here. We will make an announcement when registration is full. We hope to add more guided hikes in the futre.
Meet at: Meeting location will be sent out to participants a few days before the event.
Bring: Water, binoculars, sturdy shoes. We will have some binoculars to loan out.
Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas Parks Pass.
