Night Sky Program
Sat, March 14, 2026
Join a ranger to learn about our night sky in the park.
Learn why it’s important to turn your lights off at night, what animals are active in the dark and how to spot some of our common constellations. Design your own constellation then head over to our telescopes to see the stars and planets shine bright.
Meet at: Amphitheater
Bring: Water and flashlight with red setting.
Cost: Free with park admission.
Note: If you do not reserve your day pass ahead of time online, you will need to come with exact change or your Texas State Parks Pass to fill out a self-pay envelope at Park Headquarters.
Want to speed up your entry process? Reserve online in advance.
Don’t forget to follow us on Instagram and Facebook for all the latest information about park events. All events are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather.
