Trail Maintenance Mornings

Get your hands dirty and give back to the park you love to visit.

Join us for a hands-on workday as we trim back vegetation and pick up litter along the trails.  Volunteers will be using simple hand tools like loppers.  All tools provided by the park.  Trail location and additional event specifics will be emailed to participants a few days prior to the workday.

Times: 8:30 am to 12:00 pm

Ages: 13 years and up

Bring: Water, snacks, work gloves, sturdy shoes, protective clothing

Register: Email Ranger Katy Tiedemann ahead of time to register as a volunteer for Dinosaur Valley State Park. Participating volunteers must register one day ahead of time.

Workdays are subject to cancellation based on the weather and trail conditions.  This posting will be updated with changes as needed.

After the workday, enjoy free entry to the park.  Volunteers will not need to purchase a Day Use Pass for trail maintenance mornings.
