Become a Texas Parks and Wildlife Certified Fly Fishing Instructor
This free workshop is open to the following:
- Resides in Texas
- 18 years or older
- Completed the Angler Education Instructor Workshop
- Have fly fishing experience (this is not a beginner course)
Participants will need to bring their own fly rod & reel with complete line setup to use during the workshop. The workshop is for those interested in learning and teaching fly fishing skills in their communities. The workshop will present fly fishing teaching methods in casting, aquatic ecology, line setup and flies, and educational resources through the Texas Parks and Wildlife Angler Education Program.
Pre-registration is required and is limited to 12 attendees.
