Become a Texas Parks and Wildlife Certified Angler Education Instructor
You must attend both sessions in full to become certified. Make up sessions are not available.
All participants are required to have a reliable internet connection, remain on camera for the duration of the session, use a device equipped with a functioning microphone and speakers, and demonstrate engagement throughout the workshop.
After certification, the program provides the curriculum, equipment (where available), materials and support to help volunteers successfully introduce and teach fishing to all ages. Ideal for fishing clubs, teachers, scout, or youth group leaders, after school or camp staff and community volunteers. TEA-approved CPE available for teachers.
Dates: Wednesday, October 7, 2026 and Thursday, October 8, 2026
Time: 6:00 pm - 8:45 pm CST each day
Pre-registration is required and is limited to 20 attendees.
