CCC Camp - Building a Mission

***Location change- in the mission workshop building*** The 1930's come to life as demonstrators set up camp just as they would if they'd been workers in the Civilian Conservation Corp.

Step back in time and see how the men of the CCC lived at this two-day program! In the 1930's, men of the Civilian Conservation Corps worked together to create many of the buildings and trails still present in state parks and across the country. For us using these amenities today, it's easy to wonder what life would have been like for those who have made such a lasting impact on the land. Demonstrators will be in the mission workshop Friday and Saturday (closed 12-1pm for lunch) with a variety of items from the CCC. Come by and imagine yourself in the 1930's!

***Location change***

Reenactors will be set up in the workshop on the mission grounds.

Program is free with park entrance ($4 per adult, free for children 12 and under).
