First Day Hike- Guided Trail Sampler

Join a Ranger on a 1.8-mile guided hike around Goliad State Park!

Celebrate the beginning of 2026 on the trails with a First Day Hike!  Join a Ranger as we hike roughly 1.8 miles from Headquarters to the mission grounds, along the Aranama Nature Trail, down the CCC trail, along the San Antonio River Trail to a restroom and water stop, up the Angel of Goliad Hike and Bike Trail back to Headquarters.

This hike is expected to take about an hour and will be over mostly flat terrain with some stairs and a mix of natural and paved surfaces.

Cost: Park entrance is $4 per person, free for kids 12 & under

Hikers are encouraged to dress for the weather and bring water to drink.
