Loteria

The traditional Mexican game of chance - with a twist! Goliad State Park Lotería features images that make this park unique.

In this Bingo-style game, a caller ("el gritón") announces cards from a deck of 54, and players mark matching images on their game boards ("tablas") using tokens like beans or coins. The first player to complete a pre-defined pattern (row, column, diagonal, or full board) shouts "¡Lotería!" to win. Join us for a fun Goliad rendition of this popular game as you learn about things found in the park and try to win the game!

Program takes place in the Mission Kitchen (in the workshop on the mission grounds)
