Discover some of the wild and unique ways different animal mothers in the park raise their young!
Discover how the animal mothers of Goliad State Park use wildly different strategies to raise their young, each shaped by the challenges of surviving in the wild. From species that fiercely guard their offspring to those that rely on camouflage, cooperation, or sheer endurance, every mother has evolved a method that gives her young the best chance to thrive. This program highlights familiar park residents and reveals the surprising ways they nurture, protect, and prepare their young for life on their own.
Program takes place in the picnic area.
Program is free with park entrance ($4 per person, free for kids 12 & under).
