Experience the fun of bird-watching!

How do you tell all those birds apart? Join the park ranger to find out! We’ll also go over binocular tips and tricks, and then see what birds we can spot at the bird blind.

Who: The whole family! All ages and skill levels are welcome.

Bring: Drinking water, dress for the weather. Bring binoculars if you have them -- if not, we have plenty to borrow!

Meet: at the amphitheater behind the Discovery Center.

Know before you go: This is a program that involves sitting and a small amount of walking on gravel and accessible trails.

Cost/registration:  Park programs are free with a Texas State Parks pass or park entrance fee - $7 per person ages 13 and up, kids 12 and under are always free! No need to register -- just show up!

Ask us! We want our programs to be a fun outdoor experience for all. If there's anything we can do to help, please ask, either via email or phone, or at the time of the program.

**Save the date! Reserve your spot online ahead of time to guarantee your entrance to the park -- even if it closes for capacity. You can do this up to 30 days in advance with your credit card, or for free with your Annual Texas State Parks pass: https://texasstateparks.reserveamerica.com/
