Self-Guided First Day Nature Hikes

Experience the great outdoors and join us for a self-guided First Day Hike!

Start 2024 off outdoors! Hike one of our many trails located within Guadalupe River State Park (including the Bauer Unit) at your own leisure and let us know which route you took! Need a recommendation? Don't fret- we can suggest the perfect route for you and your family. Participants will receive a First Day Hike sticker upon completion!

All ages welcome!

How to Participate: Once you are finished with your hike, stop by headquarters to record your miles and receive your First Day Hike sticker
When: Headquarters hours are 8am-4:30pm
Bring: Drinking water, sun protection, sturdy shoes; dress for weather
Cost: Free with park admission; Adults: $7, Children 12 & under: Free

Day-use reservations are highly recommended to ensure your entrance to the park.
