Birding and Birdhouses

Join a local expert to learn about our native birds and how to spot them using some of our binoculars, then make your own birdhouse.

Each month there will be a different local birding expert teaching what they know. The program begins with a basic introduction about how to properly use binoculars and then we will talk about some of the feathery friends you can find at the Park and then make your own birdhouse to take home!

Time/Location: 11am at the Park Store Back Porch. 

Cost: Free with park admission, and park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. On busy weekends, reserve your day use pass early online! Please note: You do NOT need to register or make a reservation for this event, just be sure you have a day pass purchased for everyone attending.
