Learn more about how to use your binoculars to explore the world around you!
Join a ranger at the overflow parking area for a quick introduction to how binoculars work and how to use them, then get some hands-on practice. Our ranger will have a few binoculars available to borrow for our activity, but please bring your own if you would like to learn how to use them! Practice a fun outdoor skill and improve your wildlife viewing and birding skills!
When: September 5 at 10:00 a.m.
Where: Overflow parking area
Bring: Bring your binoculars, lots of water, and comfortable outdoor clothes.
Cost: This program is free with admission to the park. Day passes are $6 per person 13 and older. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass.
