Creepy Crawly Valentines

Learn about animals that deserve more love and get to do some arts and crafts!

Some of the creatures we share our world with just don’t get enough love. All animals have a role in their environment, and many of them even help us out. Learn to love creatures like spiders, insects, snakes, and bats this Valentine’s Day and make some creepy crawly themed Valentine’s cards to show them some kindness!  

Basic supplies, like colored paper, pencils, and crayons, will be included, but feel free to bring your own. This program will take place outside, so dress in layers that will keep you warm and can be removed as the day warms up.  

When: February 14 at 1:00pm 

Where: The Day Use area at the picnic tables near the restrooms.  

Bring: Personal art supplies if desired, water, and warm layers since we will be outside for the program. Bring a chair or blanket to lay out on the ground in case our table fills up.  

Cost: This program is free with admission to the park. Day passes are $6 per person over 12 years old.
