Let’s talk turkeys!
Meet a ranger at the day-use area to learn more about November’s favorite bird! We’ll talk a bit about turkeys, their habitat, and Thanksgiving traditions, then make some turkey art to take home.
All supplies will be included for this arts and crafts program. We will be outside, so please dress for the weather!
When: November 25 at 11 a.m.
Where: The day-use parking area
Bring: Please bring plenty of water, a hat, sunscreen, and anything else you might need. Dress for the weather!
Cost: This program is free with admission to the park. Day passes are $6 per person 13 and older. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Please make a day pass or camping reservation in advance, as we will likely sell out of day passes for weekdays and weekends during the fall.
