Here's my advice to survive Friday the 13th:
If you trip in the woods, get up.
Avoid reading Latin books that haven't been opened for decades.
Do not pack old dolls for camping.
This story-based hike will include troubles and toils of Friday the 13th misfortune. A roll of the dice will determine your fate. Costumes not required but will give you extra points. This program is suitable for children and adults. People who seem extra spooky will get extra tricks. RSVP is required for this program. Contact Ranger Katy to sign up.

Where: Walnut Slough Day-use Area
Cost: This event is free with the purchase of a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free.
