Join us today to help beautify our garden! We'll learn more about gardening and the value of a hard day's work!
Join us for a service project to help beautify our garden. You can stay for the entire time, or just an hour. Kids and adults are welcome.
If you plan to join, please call/text/email Ranger Katy so we can prepare enough tools.
During our service project, we'll learn about the plants growing in the garden, and which plants are weeds. We'll look for pollinators and other critters that live in the garden habitat.
When: 1-3pm
Where: Meet at the Education Center
Bring: Bring a hat, sunscreen, and insect repellent. We'll bring kneeling mats, gloves, and other garden tools.
Cost: This program is free to attend. Entrance to the park requires a $4 day-use permit. If you are a registered Texas State Park volunteer or apart of a service group like the Texas Master Naturalists - contact Ranger Katy about permits.
