Guided Kayak Trip **No rentals available**

Explore the sloughs and lake, and discover all about local flora and fauna.

Reservations are not currently required to attend this program.

Whether you are an experienced kayaker or new to the hobby, come on out and join us for an exciting adventure. Introductions and instructions will be given before each trip.

When: The kayak trip starts at 10am

Where: Cypress Swamp Paddling Trail (formerly the Cherokee Paddling Trail) located in the Rush Creek Unit (formerly South Cherokee Unit)

Bring: Water shoes, appropriate attire, plenty of water, your own kayak or rent one (first come, first served).

Cost: Guided trips are free, entrance to the park requires a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. Boat rental fees are not included with a Texas State Park Pass. 

Reminder: Keep in mind that even though these are guided trips, you participate at your own risk. There are no restrooms located at the launch area.

Paddling trips may be cancelled in inclement weather.
