Hammered Leaf Prints

Release the pigments found within a leaf to make a beautiful botanic print!

Discover all about how leaves grow and what makes them green. We'll investigate leaf size, texture, and why they are important for plants.

We'll practice the ancient art of leaf pounding and make a hammered leaf print to take home.

Cost: Entrance to the park requires the purchase of a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free.

Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult.
