Homeschool Class: Lake Dip Netting

“Homeschool Classes” are educational field trip style lessons, only open homeschool families. Open posting to view program description.

Bring your curiosity and sense of adventure! We’ll use our dip nets to take samples from the lake and discover all about the teeny tiny creatures that live here. 

Please wear appropriate shoes and clothing that is ok for wet and muddy conditions.

This program has limited capacity and requires RSVP to attend.

Please arrive at the park about 10 minutes before your program. This will give you time to check in at Headquarters (Hen House Ridge Unit/Unit on the south side of the highway) and pick up your day-use permit.

Entrance fees are waived for RSVP’d participants, permits are still required.

After check-in, meet at Education Center (Walnut Ridge Unit) to group up. We may travel to additional locations.
