The eclipse is set to begin around 12:30pm, hit the peak at 1:45pm, and be complete by 3pm. Please note: Our headquarters office is closed 12-2pm on this date. 

Although we are not in the pathway of the direct solar eclipse, we can expect to see about 90% coverage of this exciting phenomenon. Learn more about the solar eclipse path. 

Safety: Looking directly at the sun is damaging for your eyes. Use solar glasses or make your own pinhole viewer

Cost: Entrance to the park requires a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass.
