Join us on the second Saturday of the month to bird watch with a knowledgeable volunteer!

Join us for a guided birdwatching trip with an experienced and knowledgeable volunteer! Explore a wide range of prime birding habitat and discover seasonal migration interest. 

When: 8am

Where: meet at the Boat Ramp in the Rush Creek Unit (formerly named the South Cherokee Unit)

Cost: This program is free, entrance to the park requires a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. 

Bring: binoculars

Reminder: There are no restrooms in this area of the park so plan accordingly
