Harness the power of the sun to showcase the beauty of light and shadow.

Discover the beauty of light and shadow as we engage in artistic ways to use the sun. 

We'll investigate ways the sun is important for the earth and the many ways organisms use the sun. We'll design whimsical shadow scenes to explore how light and angle transforms a shape. Then, we'll use solar paper to explore the power of negative space. 

When: 4pm

Where: Education Center located in the Walnut Ridge Unit 

Cost: Entrance to the park requires the purchase of a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free.

Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult.
