Wildflower Seedbombs

Explore our Wildscape Garden and make your own wildflower seed bomb! This is an "open house" style program.

This is an "open house" style program. About 15 people can make seed bombs at one time. If your group is larger than 15, expect to take turns. 

Explore our Wildscape Garden and discover all about native wildflowers. We'll wander the winding pathways to observe flowers in bloom and search for plants that are in seed. We'll seek out signs of pollinators and discover why native plants are so important. 

Then, we'll use the special Wildscape Garden Seed Mix and make seed bombs to take home. 

When: 1-3pm

Where: Education Center located in the Walnut Ridge Unit

Cost: Entrance to the park requires the purchase of a $4 day pass or a Texas State Park Pass. Children 12 and under are free.

Youth participants must be accompanied by an adult.
