Explore the 90-year-old tower built by the Civilian Conservation Corps, and learn about its history, significance, and legacy that it, and Mother Neff State Park, leave for Texas.

Meet an expert on the history of Mother Neff State Park to discover the awe-inspiring story of the park and one of its most iconic structures, the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) Tower. 

Note: The talk is come and go and is located along the Tower Trail at the park. To attend, you will walk along the trail to the meet up point.

Difficulty: Easy

Length: The hike to the tower is around .5 miles one way. 

Bring: Water, close-toed shoes

Meet: At the CCC Tower.

Cost: Free with park admission. Park admission is free with a Texas State Parks Pass. Day passes can be purchased ahead of time on our website.
