Directions

  • From the north: Take I-35 South through Waco to Exit 315, (FM 107 Moody Marlin) and turn right onto FM 107. Stay on FM 107  for 13 miles through Moody and turn left onto SH 236. The park entrance will be a half-mile ahead on your right. Estimated travel time from just south of Waco is 30 minutes.
  • From the south: Two options are available. Take I-35 north through Temple and use one of the exits below. Estimated travel time from Temple is 30 minutes.
    • Exit 301 (SH 53, FM 2305, Central Ave.., Adams Ave.): Turn left onto SH 53, FM 2305. Stay on SH 53 (which turns into SH 36 at Loop 363) for 5.7 miles to SH 317. Exit for SH 317 North towards Moody. In 11 miles turn left onto FM 107. Then in 6.4 miles turn left onto SH 236. The park entrance will be a half-mile ahead on your right. 
    • Exit 314 (FM 107 Moody Marlin): Turn left onto FM 107. Stay on FM 107  for 13 miles through Moody and turn left onto SH 236. The park entrance will be a half-mile ahead on your right. 
  • From the west: From Gatesville, travel 17 miles on FM 107.  Turn right onto SH 236. The park entrance will be a half-mile ahead on your right. Estimated travel time is 20 minutes.

Construction/Flooding Notice: Routes change frequently due to construction on I-35 as well as periodic flooding on roads near the park. Directions may change. Call the park for road updates at (254) 853-2389.

Visitor Center: 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. 
(closed from noon – 1 p.m. on weekdays)


Note: The gate at the south end of park is closed indefinitely.
