Spooky Night Hike (RSVP Required)
Fri, October 30, 2026
Don your Halloween costume and a park ranger as you hike the park after dark, seeing the outdoors in a new light.
Be sure to put on your Halloween costume as we explore Mother Neff State Park after the sun has set. Join a park ranger on a hike through the prairie as we look around for nocturnal critters, including different species mammal, reptile, scorpions, and insects. Listen for distant calls of owls and even get a quick tour of the night sky and learn how to navigate at night just like humans have done for thousands of years.
