Mothing in the Palmettos

Explore the amazing world of Moths with a team of Master Naturalists and Park Rangers! You'll be able to take some amazing pictures and learn a ton about these incredible winged insects!

Master Naturalists will be delivering a presentation to give some background on these incredible insects. After the presentation, take a short walk to visit UV-illuminated "moth sheets" where you can view, photograph, and identify some moths.

Please Bring a flashlight or headlamp and a phone or other camera. Also, make sure to wear dark clothes so the moths will land on the sheets instead of on you!
