Earn your Junior Ranger badge!
Does your child love to discover, explore, wonder at, and appreciate State Parks and natural places? Then they have what it takes to become a Junior Ranger!
We'll provide your kids with all they need to complete our Junior Ranger Activity Journal which will earn them their Junior Ranger Badge Level 1, 2, or 3.
- Meet us at the Picnic area to begin. RSVP to Stephen.Garmon@tpwd.texas.gov to guarantee space at this event.
- Training will include some hiking and exploring, which can be done on asphalt, level grass, or rocky terrain.
- Academy will be about 1 to 1.5 hours long.
- Best for children 6 years old and older.
- Bathrooms, tables, and drinking water are available nearby.
- Adults must accompany their child the entire program.
- Day passes can sell out quickly, reserve your ahead of time on our website!
